Male Bonding To The Max

Ha ha ha.... i can smile from cheek to cheek now cos i've spent an entire day with the guys in my CG. what a fruitful day it has been. here's what we did today

1) met yingsoon at bukit batok 930am, was late for 10min, drove us to meet alaric
2) alaric met us, we were 15 mins late cos YS need top up his petrol
3) went to east coast, look for directions using directory
4) had macdonalds breakfast via drive through
5) parked at coasta sand resort
6) changed into out gear
7) went barefooted to the kayak site
8) called for the attendant to rent us the kayak, waited for 10min, someone "praise" the attendant for being late to us
9) kayak for 1hr, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......... splish splash making us wet
10) sun wasn't that sunny cos block by the clouds but it was relatively good
11) went back to car to get our stuff to change in the washroom
12) changi, marina south, marina square.... where shall we eat? ok lets go to Carl's jr not Cow's jr
13) sourdough bacon burger combo was what i had
14) shopped around the newly renovated marina square, so nice
15) arcade time!!!!! didn't manage to destroy the last boss of KOF 2002
16) decide to go to YS place for a swim
17) drizzled so plan B
18) drank chinese tea, played with candy the dog, played boardgame "escape from atlantis" quite fun. should try
19) finally went for swim not really lah, end up chatting in the water
20) changed
21) time now is about 730pm, went for dinner at S11
22) ate and talked some more for 1hr ++
23) YS sent us to the nearest mrt
24) me and alaric took train home, talked again
25) home sweet home

things i learnt today...
1) nothing beats fellowshipping with brothers, meaningfully
2) everybody wants to enjoy so everyone was open to suggestions, no tension
3) be prepared for the trip, where to park, find out info etc so time will not be wasted
4) be open during conversation and of course genuine conversing cos you really want to know the person better and to enjoy, not for judgement purposes
5) meaningful fellowship adds strength and helps each other to carry on the walk stronger and further

next outing will be next year. 31st dec 05 will be my last ss in youth. after that will be ADULTS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!
