Grace so Abundant.

Things has been looking great for me. God must have heard my prayers... i think i've prayed before, but anyway i am really glad that our caregroup is actually birthing out another caregroup and come this week we'll all be in the new caregroup structure. Nicole will be our new CL. we've given her a new name, actually its shufen who named her, we just ride on it. Nic's new name is call XING(1) MA(1). it means new mother or you can associate her new name with the likes of a mamasan. the rest of us are known as XING(1) XING(1) but i call the sisters in the new caregroup XIAO(2) JIE(3) or simply hostesses. well the guys have the toughest and biggest shoes to fill, we're the BODYGUARDS. it fits and flows better. the no of guys in our caregroup is growing. from me and samuel, ronnie was added last year, then last month timothy decided to come back to church and lastly junhuang is coming over this coming week. now we are 5 ppl but i know we'll grow even more and even outgrow the gals. the gals now stands at 7 ppl. barely 6months and i'm now functioning as a CLA. thank God for his grace.

in the recent breakthrough campaign, which was last year, i only made a monetarypledgebut not not in the areas of ministry etc as i was on a transition and do not know what to expect. just last week we had the 2nd round of pledge and this time round i made a ministry and studies pledge. i hope to be the top 10% in my cohort for my course and i hope our caregroup will birth another one by this year and also to disciple one person, guy especially. i think everything is falling into place cos during our adults regional team meeting, Ps jeff mention that this year one of the focus is to raise up more male leaders. this was mention after i made the pledge in the morning during service. for me, its a confirmation from the ONE up there. i was super happy when i heard this. throughout my years in church, i've always tried my best to raise up male leaders. the person who took over my pastoral ministry is a guy. the person who took over my singing ministry is also a guy. throughout church history there has always been more female leaders than male ones. but things have started to change as more guys are taking a step of faith to lead. i cant wait for the plans God has planned for me to unfold this year. be ready in season and out of season.

School's has been great. i've never studied so much in my life. i LOVE to study now. i enjoy my class and i am simply going all the way. i'm pratically making use of all opportunities to study. be it during lunch time or when i have nothing to do in office, i'll just take out my text and start to revise. not only revise but to read up chapters before they are even taught. i just hope that i'll not screw up during exams which is in 2 months time.

recently, one of our leader got hitched and was officially announced to be in a relationship. i was really happy but i wont be really happy till i 've interviewed that leader's other half and so we went out and had lunch blah blah blah. well i've given the leader's other half a pass cos i feel good about the person and know that that person will take care of the leader. actually during our sub-d leaders new year LOU HEY munch, i secretly prayed that the leader will get hitch this year and what do u know, prayer answered. haha

well my next project is to dicepher the davinci code book. have just finished reading the book. it's a great NOVEL. it kept me intrigue and glued to the book. but there are certain things that need to be explained as i myself started to question the truth. for the young believers, they will be misguided if they are not properly taught. thats why this project along with the other team players plays a huge part.
